I Love You Everyday Ellian!

That's How You Know

It's not enough to take the one you love for granted
You must remind her, or she'll be inclined to say...
"How do I know he loves me?"
(How does she know that you love her?
How do you show her you love her?)
"How do I know he's mine?"
(How does she know that you really, really, truely love her?)

Well does he leave a little note to tell you you are on his mind?
Send you yellow flowers when the sky is grey? Heyy!
He'll find a new way to show you, a little bit everyday
That's how you know, that's how you know!
He's your love...

You've got to show her you need her
Don't treat her like a mind reader
Each day do something to need her
To believe you love her

"Everybody has problems, everybody has bad times, do we sacrifice all the good times because of them? NO" quote from the movie Enchanted

Heartbreak Kid

After watching the movie Heartbreak Kid starring Ben Stiller, all I can say is that he's character is one big jerk! He gets married with a beautiful girl named Lila whom he knew for 6 weeks and out of pressure not to loose her for some voluntary work, he marries her so she won't have to move out of the country. Lila was a good wife for Edward (Ben Stiller), but in the movie they made Lila look like the bad wife... has a weird dark side when it comes to sex, constantly nags when she's irritated, easy to deceive and clueless at times. However, this is not the way to live a married life. I feel sorry for Edward for being indecisive. He does not know what he truly wants in his life. He only sees what's good for him in a girl at the start and he quickly grabs her not realizing that every person has their flaws. When he does see the reality, his outlook and perception of life with the person he's with suddenly changes. Don't get me wrong, the movie was fun to watch and has funny characters and lines, but at the same time it also gave marriage an image full of difficulty and stress. Yes its true that married life is not something easy to live in, but isn't getting married also something to be worked on together by husband and wife and not being self-centered and selfish (not that I'm married, I just know from my parents). Edward lacked the faith and perseverance he should have in the first place. Edward wasn't happy with her just because he can't do all those activities he wanted with her during their honeymoon, but that's no reason to justify everything that his life will be like that forever. Understanding your partner's side is one key in having a healthy married life. That was one thing Edward lack... his lack of understanding his wife... he tried to look like he understands her, but deep inside, he felt that he can't accept her. Heck, he didn't really tried hard enough to understand that her past is past and that she moved on from that. Anyway, all I can say is that your love for someone is something you really have to take care of... its like protecting something with your whole life. Love is like wheel which goes anywhere... from smooth to rough roads. Love is not true when there's no faith and perseverance in it... when you don't believe in each other... when you don't trust each other.. Love is powered by two people.. Both knowing that love is forever... infinite... full of happiness and tears. Love feels perfect when imperfection exists. Love is simply being with your special someone Love is simply holding your hand and looking at you... Love is you, Ellian.
